Hey loves! So, I have to be honest. You may not be able to tell but I am pretty shy. I've overcome it in strides over the years, but I'm still very shy.
Along with being shy, I'm suuuuuper fearful. My fear of the unknown is REAL. So I spend days, weeks, months, and/or years talking myself out of doing things simply because I'm fearful of the outcome. It is a HUGE hindrance to my success and this year I am vowing to change that.
I'm calling this, Just Do It 2k17.
I have to do better, I have to have faith. There's so much that I have planned this year and I am going to do everything in my power to make it happen. Nothing matters more to me than my success. The days of being my own worst enemy are over. Time to be on #TeamJanisha!
So no more fear. I do understand that this will NOT happen over night, and I hope you guys understand that too. But I'm taking the first step and I'm very proud of myself for it.
If you are struggling with shyness or fearfulness please take some time to understand why you feel this way. Reflect on what you feel and think. Every thought and every feeling is valid. You can join me on this Just Do It 2k17 journey.
Comment below if you suffer from being shy and/or being fearful. And if you want to join me on this journey. We can keep each other accountable! Also please share any tips you have about letting go of fear and shyness. I could use it!
Peace&Love,
Janisha

I can totally relate. Just recently I was scared of joining this new dance class because the fear of messing up ALL of the moves and my shyness. But I've told myself that this is what I want to do and I refuse to chicken out! My nerves were getting the best of me until I've began to loosen up by realizing I've made it through the door. Plus everyone were coming up to me, talking and making me feel welcome. I've ended up feeling proud of myself and I had fun! All while I'm still getting the hang of "overcoming fears" the best advice or tips I can give you or anyone is, don't pass up opportunities especially if the idea of it excited you in the first place. Because you never know what great things may come your way. Plus you'll feel so proud of yourself and you might even shock yourself! Haha! Just how you created those fearful imaginations, you can dead them also. #Stepoutyourcomfortzone2
And I love you blog, btw! Forever supporting! Keep up the amazing work. 😇❤
